Senior Creative Producer

October 2018-present

  • Raised the creative bar at Amazon Music by introducing premium level content production for the first time, expanding video and audio storytelling formats for artists to connect more with fans

  • Led creative development, execution and production for various content series to support Amazon Music’s launch of their first hip hop and R&B playlists, Rap and R&B Rotation, contributing to growth on brand channels

  • Demonstrated leadership in talent bookings, taking early bets on artists by partnering with them on content early on who have now risen to major stardom like Saweetie, Baby Tate and more

  • Led, conceptualized and executive produced award-winning film Message in the Music that highlights AAPI women artists, driving change and enriching Amazon Music’s perception and brand as a platform where more artists and underrepresented voices can be heard

  • Led creative development and production for Amazon Music’s first talent-led Twitch show called Connected with Wayno, featuring host Wayno, hip hop guru and VP of A&R at Quality Control, contributing to Amazon Music's Twitch follower growth and integration in hip hop

  • Built first Amazon Music Twitch talent show playbook that became a resource for teams across creative development and production for future Twitch shows Curated and led artist booking for Twitch conversation-centered shows across cultural tentpole months, providing diverse spectrum of talent to showcase Amazon Music’s breadth of working across talent in the livestreaming space

  • Led panels, Q&A sessions and film screenings for artists, demonstrating leadership around activations with artists to build community Spearheaded core content strategy during pandemic, creating opportunities to work with artists and produce content remotely

  • Executive produced Shapeshifter short film featuring artist Luna Li, partnering with mass media company 88Rising to host content on their YouTube channel for additional distribution and working with Prime Video to expand its availability in the Amazon ecosystem

  • Established the creative production process for first ever content studio shoots at Amazon Music’s studios, operationalizing and scaling content shoots in a new setting with various stakeholders Conceptualized, pitched and executed engaging video concepts like “Art of Wellness” and “Style Galore,” demonstrating strong understanding of YA audiences' growing connection and interest in mental health, fashion and more

  • Launched first ever premium level "Video Stories" homepage content experience with Sam Smith, executing shoot production on tight timeline and delivering engaging content for the app

SoundCloud

  • Built SoundCloud’s reputation as a home for creators, establishing relationships with SoundCloud creators and artists

  • Led and advocated for independent artists by onboarding them into the Content Partner Program, SoundCloud's first revenue-sharing offering to help them monetize their content and grow their careers

  • Created the SoundCloud Artist Forum, with the goal of having SoundCloud team learn and connect from creators on the ground in a transparent, authentic way

  • Consistently highlighted independent artists through SoundCloud’s owned channels to provide a voice for creators and to showcase the brand's commitment to them

  • Organized offline opportunities for artists to amplify online momentum, booking artists for SoundCloud’s 2014 SXSW music showcase, SoundCloud Go subscription launch event and more

  • Led the Hans Zimmer classical community contest which received over 6400 submissions in 33 days, the highest number of submissions in SoundCloud's history of community contests to date

  • Joined SoundCloud's first US office (SF) as one of its first US employees when SoundCloud had a total of 50 employees worldwide, helping shape the culture of a unique satellite office and becoming a founding member of the Education & Policy Diversity Resource group
